Ghanaian midfielder Joakim Adukor has expressed excitement after making a return to the pitch to help Diósgyőr in their league win against Ujpest over the weekend.
Adukor was in action for his side for the first time in several weeks due to injury.
The former Ghana youth international came on in the second half to replace David Markvart as Diósgyőr clinched a 2-1 win in the game.
“It felt good to be back on the field again after a long time and an important +3points yesterday,’ Adukor posted on Social Media.
Mirko Ivanoski scored first after just seven minutes before Rui Pedro added the second on the hour mark.
Soma Novothny pulled one back for Ujpest in injury time.
The win thus, sends Diósgyőr fifth on the NB I Hunngarian top flight league.
