Ghanaian striker Abdul Basit Khalid was on target for Esperance in the Tunisian Ligue 1 on Sunday night when they defeated JS Karouan by three goals to one.
The talented Ghanaian forward was in his elements at the Stade Olympique de Rades as he remained a major headache for the visitors through his artistry, pace and power.
Basit netted the second goal for his side in the 63rd minute with a superb strike after Anice Badri had shot them ahead a minute earlier.
Mohamed Iheb Addemi reduced the deficit for Kairouan in the 73rd minute before Badri completed a brace with two minutes to full time.
Esperance are on top of the Tunisian top-flight with 55 points from 21 games.
