English-born Ghanaian promising attacker Omari Hutchinson was on target twice for Arsenal’s U23s as they posted a 4-2 win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League 2 on Friday night.
Hutchinson, 17, shot the hosts ahead after seven minutes into the game before completing a brace in the game in the 15th-minute mark to give the young Gunners a 2-0 lead.
Three minutes later, Rules pulled one back for Crystal Palace but Mika Bieret struck beautifully to extend give Arsenal a 3-1 lead.
The Eagles ramped up the pressure in the final 10-minutes and managed to claw one back through a fierce Kirby shot on the edge of the box.
The midfielder latched onto a defence-splitting ball from Omilabu down the left-hand side and struck his powerful shot right into the top corner.
The Eagles poured everyone forward in an attempt to salvage a point after winning a free-kick in the final minute of stoppage time, but it was to no avail as the Gunners hit back on the counter-attack to make it 4-2 through Zak Swanson.
