Dutch team FC Twente has reached an agreement with FSV Mainz 05 about the arrival of Issah Abass to Enschede.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian attacker will be loaned from the German club until the end of this season and arrived in De Grolsch Veste today.
Jan Streuer: “It’s great that we have Issah Abass in the selection. Abass is a strong and fast striker who can also play on the sides. He is an energetic boy with a very good drive. As soon as the work permit is in place, he can join the group. ”
Issah Abass played in Ghana for Asokwa FC and made the switch to the Slovenian NK Olimpija in 2017.
After a year and a half, he continued his career at FSV Mainz 05, this club rented Abass to FC Utrecht last year. Abass, international of Ghana Under 23, played 22 times for the Utrecht club last season and scored eight times.
