Ghanaiana forward Thomas Boakye scored for Halmstads BK in their away win over Västeràs SK on Wednesday night.
Boakye opened the scoring in the first half on the 3rd to put his team ahead in the game after he was set up by fellow Ghanaian teammate Sadat Karim but Karwan Safari equalised for the host 14 minutes later.
The first half ended one goal apiece despite both sides creating a number of good goal scoring opportunities.
Halmstads took the lead again in the second half from the spot before the host snatched an equalizer 17 minutes from full but Alhassan Kamara had other ideas as he scored the third to secure all three points to the away on the 81st with Sadat registering another assist.
Boakye, 27, has two goals in five appearances Halmstads in the Sweden Superettan this season.
