The Hearts of Oak coaching job is once again vacant following the reported departure of Kosta Papic and a former Asante Kotoko head coach has expressed readiness to take the job should it be offered to him.
“I am a professional coach and when any opportunities comes including that of Hearts of Oak I will gladly jump on and take the job” Karim Abdul Razak told Nhyira FM in Kumasi.
The 1978 African footballer of the year has been without a job in football for some time now and is eager to make a return to the dugout for the team that he played and coached against whilst wearing the red jersey of Kotoko.
Razak is famously remembered for leading the Porcupine Warriors to win the 2003 Ghana Premier League title to end the six-year dominance of Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians are winless in their last four games and occupy the 11th position on the league table after 13 games.
