Asante Kotoko Executive Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei has told the playing body of the club to be self-confident, urging them to go for victory in Wednesday’s 2016/17 Premier League, match day 22 fixture against Inter Allies.
The Porcupines touched base in the capital on Tuesday afternoon to complete their preparation for the crunch midweek duel to be played at the military venue, the El Wak Stadium.
The Porcupines are on a chase for their fourth straight win in the second round of the league. The Executive Chairman visited the players and officials during their last training session late Tuesday afternoon.
He drummed home the need for a win. “I came here upon hearing of your arrival, to encourage you to have the self-belief and the confidence that, you’re better than any opponent you meet” said Dr. Kyei.
“I’ve always been praying for you. I’ve done that a lot of times. You go out there and win the game for me”.
Captain Amos Frimpong, on behalf of the playing body, promised the Executive Chairman and Management that, they would win the game”.
