Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak have each received GHC 50, 000 ahead of this year’s President Cup Match which will be staged at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on July 2nd.
The President Cup was launched on Thursday in Accra was both clubs hope to secure another bragging rights.
Hearts have already beaten the Porcupine Warriors twice this season and will be hoping to add a third defeat to their arch rivals.
The Porcupine Warriors are seeking revenge after the substandard defeats in the Ghana Premier League and in the Ghana @60 Cup match respectively.
The two clubs have confirmed their participation and hence the acceptance of the said amounts.
Frank Nuttull’s side will be engaged in Premier League action this weekend in Elmina against Sharks while Kotoko host title holders Wa All Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
