The Black Stars of Ghana lifted the CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations trophy on Saturday night after beating Uganda by 2-0 but the Satellites did so through the backdoor.
The Black Satellites, thus become the first African country to win the U-20 Nations Cup trophy for the fourth time, having previously won it in 1993, 1996, and 2009.
Ghana made it to the quarterfinal as the third best team from Group C and defeated Cameroon who were leaders from group A to book a semifinal clash with Gambia, a side they had lost 2-1 to in the final froup game.
Boah scored a super freekick in the semifinal game as Ghana beat Gambia to make it to the finals against Uganda who also walloped Tunisia 4-1 in their semis encounter.
