Accra Hearts of Oak Coach, Samuel Boadu has taken a dig at his former club.
Coach Samuel Boadu made a surprise move from the Tarkwa based side in March after the departure of Serbian trainer Kosta Papic to the capital giants.
The Kumasi-born gaffer who handled the Mauves and Yellow between 2018 to 2021 after a successful stint with popular division one side Asokwa Deportivo has poked his former club for comments he deems as unpleasant.
In a morning sports show monitored on Asempa FM, the League winner did not mince words as he decided to react to a discussion which centered around him. The usual morning sports show which also had Director of Communications for Medeama Patrick Akoto present as the panel discussed the chances of both Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama as they both plan for their African Campaign.
“They should stop saying they gave me the platform, I came to work for them” Coach Samuel Boadu texted into the program which was read out by Host Kwadwo Mensah Moshosho. In rebuttal to his text, Patrick Akoto said he was disappointed at the reaction of their former coach. “Posterity will judge him for what he has said”
In a quick response, Samuel Boadu took a personal dig at the communications director “Stop talking about me” referring to Patrick Akoto.
Accra Hearts of Oak play Medeama Sc in the Semi-final of the FA Cup this weekend at the Cape Coast Stadium for a ticket to the final.
