Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nana Yaw Amponsah has been praised by the club’s former CEO Jarvis Peprah.
According to the former CEO of the Porcupine Warriors, the young and new club boss has done a great job for the team and deserves to be commended for a good job done in his first year at the Red and Whites outfit.
Speaking to Hello FM in Accra, he said: “I think our Public Relations side was not the best, but apart from that, I think he’s done very well being in office for just one year.”
He also said that though the club couldn’t win any silverware this campaign, but the signs are positive and the team can build on that for the next season.
” We couldn’t win the league and FA Cup but we can build on that in the season ahead.”
“So I will not say he has failed, no! With time if the board members position themselves well as a body able to solve problems without coming out it will help the club”,he added.
Kotoko finished second on the league table four points behind winners and rivals Accra Hearts of Oak SC and was also eliminated from the MTN FA Cup Competition by Berekum Chelsea FC at the quarter finals stage.
