Expressing his disappointment in an interview, the ex- Ashgold trainer, lambasted the latter for agreeing to take a job even when he was still in charge.
He wondered understand why coach Maxwell Konadu didn’t want to work together with him despite always describing him as his senior in the job.

He says: “If you know I am a senior coach, why did you accept the job with only two matches left?
“Why don’t you allow your senior to even finish the season? That’s what I will do; I don’t jump into jobs like that.” He said as quoted by Kickgh.com.
“I think my face is intimidating because he said I was a senior coach and that he gave me that respect and so he wouldn’t feel happy. So indeed, if you are given a job and in my presence, you say this then you are telling them you cannot work with me and that they should sack me.”
Asamoah Gyan and his boys will need a must-win this weekend against Eleven Wonders to enable them to maintain their spot in the league as they currently sit 14th on the league with 39 points.
