Barbara Banda’s 95th-minute free kick killed the dreams and aspirations of the Black Queens of Ghana as they were superb in the 3-3 draw against Zambia.
Nordsjaelland midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe on her X wall, formerly Twitter, shared her feelings after the 3-3 draw in Zambia.
“Last night will hurt for a while. As our Olympics journey comes to an end.
I would like to thank Ghanaians and our fans across the globe for your amazing support. We couldn’t have gotten here without y’all,” wrote Jennifer.
The 29-year-old Black Queens midfielder expressed how it hurts to be out of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers. She thanked every Ghanaian and the fans all over the world for the immense support shown to the team [Black Queens].
I’m so proud of the work we have done so far and believe in what is ahead for us. We will continue carrying the flag of Ghana with pride,” added Jennifer.
The midfielder assured Ghanaians of the exciting times ahead as she disclosed their determination to continue to make the nation proud.
Ghana lost 4-3 on aggregate against Zambia which ended the Paris 2024 dreams.
