Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Paa Kwesi Fabin has praised the Eleven Is to One side for their wonderful display despite losing by a goal to nothing against the Porcupine Warriors.
The former Ghana U 17 trainer says Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi and his charges gave his side a very tough and good game but were not determined enough for what was at stake in the game.
Forward Obed Owusu’s brilliant header in the second half ensured Kotoko beat Inter Allies by a goal to nothing on Sunday in match day 2 of the Ghana Premier League and Paa Kwesi says the results was satisfactory although the goals didn’t flow as expected.
“It was a very tough game. Inter Allies gave us a good match but we were more determined to win the game. Therefore, we won the game so I’m satisfied with the results. We came here to do a job and the job is to do well for Kotoko” Paa Kwesi told the media in a post-match interview.
He continued ”So far, it’s been good, though it was a very tough assignment this afternoon but getting the three points [was] all that we wanted and we had it so I’m really happy with that”.
