Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong has praised the fans of the club for their support throughout the ended season.
The young right-back stressed that the fans played a major role for his great output in his maiden season with the Hops as they always urged him on.
“The fans are amazing, that is the best thing about the club. They always keep me going.” Frimpong stated in a social media interaction.
“Scoring my first goal for Celtic was unbelievable, it was a great feeling and I will also savor the moment.”
Frimpong further stressed that winning the Betfred Cup was his best moment at Celtic last season as the euphoria was great.
“My best part of last season was winning the Betfred Cup, it was amazing.” He added.
The 20-year-old made 22 appearances for Celtic in all competitions scoring two goals and providing four assists as they won the double.
He has already been linked with a move to Tottenham, Sheffield United and Southampton this window.
