Hatayspor star, Joseph Akomadi has admitted that featuring in a football game against Mario Balotelli will be a dream coming true moments for him.
The Ghana international could soon be fulfilling this dream after the former AC Milan forward signed for Turkish newcomers, Adana Demirspor following his decision to leave Serie B side, Monza during the summer transfer window.
Having been one of the core squad members of the Hatayspor side, which gained qualification to the top-flight, Akomadi is bound for a spell in the Turkish top division for the 2021/22 season, and has already revealed that it could be a dream fulfilling one for him.
He said: “I have played against renowned footballers like Mezut Ozil, Antonio Valencia, Demba Ba, Samata among others but playing against former Manchester City star Mario Balotelli will boost my playing skills to do more for my club Hatayspor and also will get me closer to don the national team jersey.”
The 21-year-old believes Balotelli is a player almost everyone takes inspiration from, adding that playing against the former Italy international will give him the opportunity to showcase his worth on the field of play.
Joseph Akomadi played just twice during the 2020/21 season, which saw his side finish sixth in the Turkish Super Lig.
