Founder and owner of Division two club Thunder FC Alhaji Abdulai Nash, claims Asante Kotoko defender Ibrahim Imoro resorts to his teammates to survive in Kumasi.
According to him, the the former Ghana U20 star is going through tough time in Kumasi because the porcupine warriors have failed to settle his signing on fee coupled with his salary and bonuses.
Alhaji Abdulai Nash, earlier this month, threatened to drag Asante Kotoko to the world’s football governing body -FIFA over the unpaid transfer fee of his player Ibrahim Imoro.
”Many clubs wanted to sign Ibrahim Imoro but I decided to give him to Kotoko because it is the club I support. I was promised I will be paid the GHC 80,000 before the season ends but not a penny has been paid to me till now,” he told KUMASI FM 104.1MHZ.
”My player, Imoro Ibrahim calls me everyday for money to buy food because his salaries and bonuses have not been paid.
”He has to resort to Habib Mohammed for food because of his affiliation with him. There are more revelations to the issue I wouldn’t want to address on live radio,”he concluded.
The Ghana Premier League giants completed the signing of the full-back from Thunder FC on a 4-year-deal right before their opening match of the season against Techiman Eleven Wonders in December 2019.
