President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has urged the Black Starlets to remain disciplined, united and focused as they prepare for the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Speaking to the team before their departure for the tournament, Kurt Okraku commended the technical team for their efforts in preparing the squad and encouraged the players to trust their coaches and work together throughout the competition.

He explained that success would come if the players remained committed, listened to instructions from the technical handlers and played as a united team.
Ghana has been placed in Group D alongside Algeria, Senegal and South Africa in what is expected to be one of the toughest groups in the tournament.
The Black Starlets head into the continental competition after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to Mali in an international friendly on Saturday. Despite the loss, the match offered valuable lessons for the team ahead of the tournament.
The national U-17 side is expected to begin its Group D campaign on May 14, with hopes of making a strong impact and progressing deep into the championship in Morocco.
