Ghana forward, Seth Paintsil has admitted having a patchy season in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The former BA United winger was sidelined in most of SV Ried’s matches in the 2020/21 league season for no good reason.
Paintsil managed only 11 matches, scoring just a goal with two assists.
“For me, it was really bad because it was like I wasn’t part of the team,” Paintsil told Africa-foot.com.
“That’s how they treated me from the half of the season till the end of the season.”
Seth Paintsil , 25, started his football at the defunct Red Bull Soccer Academy before a stint with now Ghana second tier club, BA United in 2013.
He arrived in Finland with FC Jaro where he spent three seasons before joining Austrian club, Admira Wacker in the 2018/19 season.
His move to SV Ried in the top flight was completed on a free for the 2020/21 league season.
