Mukura Victory Sporting club are in no position to sell Ghanaian striker William Opoku-Mensah.
The Ghanaian forward was the live wire of the Huye based club as he helped them with some vital goals including a hat-trick against AS Muhanga in the final day of last season which helped them to maintain their topflight status
Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that two unnamed clubs from United Arab Emirates brought offers for the 24-year-old forward with one of them even wanting to take him on loan but Mukura Victory were reluctant to release him as they are yet to find his replacement.
Currently, Opoku-Mensah has one more year left on his Mukura Victory contract and he is expected to honor it.
He joined Mukura Victory as a free agent before the start of last season after leaving Ghanaian side Liberty Professionals and managed to score five goals and provided three assists in nine games.
