Official: Asante Kotoko appoints Nana Yaw Amponsah as new CEO

Asante Kotoko has appointed young and enthusiastic football administrator Nana Yaw Amponsah as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club.

The young but acknowledged football administrator has been given a three-year mandate by the newly constituted Board by Manhyia Palace.

The defeated 2019 GFA Presidential aspirant comes in with a lot of clouts to spring dynamism in terms of modern-day football administration to the dwindling fortunes of Asante Kotoko with an enviable track record as a club owner.

The young but astute football administrator met with the board of club on Thursday morning after he had been introduced to the club patron, His royal majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his blessings.

The highly-rated football administrator was on Friday morning unveiled by the club as supporters of the club trooped to Sports Hotel to welcome their new leader in an anticipation of great things to come for the Red and Whites.
