The Ghanaian international came off the bench in the 84th minute to see little action as his Newcastle United side were humiliated at Manchester City by 5-0.
The Black Stars winger – 18 league appearances this season – replaced defender Krafth Emil with six minutes remaining when the scoreline was 4-0 but he could do little to reduce the deficit for Steve Bruce team.
It was the first appearance of the former FC Porto man since his recovery from an injury he sustained back in February but this is not a memorable one as his first taste of football amidst Covid-19 turns out to be a disaster.
However Newcastle United are 13th on the league standings after 34 game and are quiet safe from relegation with 4 more games to close the season.
