New York Red Bulls coach Chris Armas has described Ghana forward Samuel Tetteh as ”a very interesting attacking player” after signing for the club.
The Ghanaian winger completed the loan move to the Major League Soccer side from Salzburg on Monday morning.
“Samuel is a very interesting attacking player,” said Head Coach Chris Armas. “He’s intelligent, he can create on his own and can stretch back lines with his speed. We know that Samuel has big potential and we are excited to get to work with him.”
Tetteh joined Red Bull Salzburg from West African Football Academy in the Summer of 2016, the Ghanaian forward was loaned to FC Liefering, in Austria’s second division. Tetteh had a strong first season with Liefering, tallying 10 goals and five assists in 20 appearances at 20 years old.
Tetteh appeared in all four of LASK’s 2019-20 UEFA Champions League qualifying matches, recording two assists in 248 minutes played.
