Black Stars winger, Samuel Owusu scored twice for Al Ahli Jeddah in the Saudi Arabian Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The diminutive left-footed forward broke the deadlock of the match to put the away team 1-0 up after just twelve minutes inside the first half with a fine finish from outside the box into the bottom left corner.
On the 18th minute, the 24-year-old netted his team’s second goal and his brace to put Al Ahli Jeddah in the driving seat on the road but the hosts reduced the deficit to one seven minutes later from the spot.
Ten minutes to the break, Ljubomir Fejsa restored the visitor’s two goals lead with a fine finish to make the score 3-1 at the interval.
Fifteen minutes to full and 30 minutes after the break, the hosts first half penalty scorer, Emelio José Zelaya struck to make it 2-3 but 60 seconds later, the home team were level on with a beautiful strike from Farouk Chafai to make it 3-3 on the day.
Mäzen Abu Shararah scored a late winner for the hosts who dramatically came from 3-1 down to beat Ahli 4-3 at home in the Saudi Arabian Premier League on Sunday.
Ghana’s Owusu has three goals, one assist in the league for Al Ahli Jeddah since his move this summer from Al Fayha.
