Senegal football legend El Hadji Diouf has backed Samuel Eto’o to succeed as president of Cameroon Football Federation.
The FC Barcelona great was elected as president of his country’s football federation last Saturday and according to the 2002 World Cup star of Senegal he has is confident that the four-time African footballer of the year will be successful.
“I have no doubt at this level that he will look out for the best human resource that will help him to achieve his objectives” Diouf told APS.
“If he is well surrounded then things will go on well because he (Eto’o) is somebody who played football at the highest level and he knows what highest level in football takes” the former Liverpool player added.
