28-year-old Ghanaian defensive midfielder Iddrisu Baba Mohammed has announced how life is comfortable in Spain to him.
Baba has lived in Spain for a decade when he first signed for Leganes Youth side before continuing his development on loan at Mollarca B.
The midfielder in 2018 started enjoying first-team football with Mallorca and has since been a regular for Mallorca and is now on loan at UD Almeria.
“I’m fine. I’m not a person who goes out much, I feel more comfortable at home,” said Baba,” said Baba Iddrisu when asked about how life is outside football in Spain.
The midfielder talked about how he loves staying at home as he gets comfortability staying indoors.
Sharing his concern about Almeria’s troubles in the ongoing season, the Ghanaian midfielder was terrified by the team’s current situation and disclosed how it is affecting him.
“The team’s situation is complicated and it affects me, but I try to handle it as best I can,” added Baba Mohammed Iddrisu.
Almeria is deeply rooted in the bottom of the Spanish La Liga table. With 26 Weeks of action honoured, Almeria has accrued 9 points from the possible 78. The beleaguered Almeria has scored 25 goals and conceded 54 as it is an indication that Baba’s Almeria is heading toward Segunda B.
No team in the traditional Top 5 European Leagues has won fewer points than Almeria. This is the life Ghanaian midfielder Iddrissu Baba is facing in Spain currently.
Almeria in Week 27 of the Spanish La Liga travels to another troubled side Celta Vigo in what is a relegation six-pointer at the Estadio de Balaidos in Vigo on Friday night.
