Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will not be part of the Black Stars contingent that will travel to America for the friendly matches against Mexico on June 28 and USA on July 1.
The 22-year-old former Tema Youth Player have been excluded from the team after his Spanish Club requested for his exemption from the two games.
The decision prompted head Coach Kwesi Appiah to invite WAFA duo Majeed Ashimeru and Gideon Waja to join the team as they continue preparations for the upcoming games.
Partey’s exclusion brings to four, the number of players omitted from the squad.
Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew and Daniel Amartey have all been excused from the team following requests from their respective Clubs in that regard.
The Black Stars are scheduled to leave Ghana on Friday for America where they will face Mexico on June 28 and USA three days later.
