Black Stars midfielder, has been ruled out for six weeks after sustaining a groin injury.
The Arsenal midfielder sustained the injury in training while the Gunners were preparing for the big clash against Manchester United.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta after the game against Manchester United on Sunday, September 3, 2023, revealed that the injury is a pretty serious one.
“It doesn’t look good. We need some more tests. I believe he’ll be out for a few weeks,” said Mikel Arteta after the game on Sunday.
It has now been reported that Partey will be out out for six weeks and will miss some crucial games for both club and country.
On the international stage, Partey will miss Ghana’s games against Central Africa Republic, USA and Mexico.
He will also miss several games including Arsenal’s matches against Everton, Tottenham, Bournemouth, and Manchester City alongside PSV Eindhoven and Lens in the UEFA Champions League.
