Tout Puissant Mazembe prepare to take on Algerian side MO Bejaia in the second leg of the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup finals on Sunday in Lubumbashi and the Congolese giants look forward to reaching another benchmark.
If the Ravens are able to dispatch their opponents to mark their first Confederation Cup success , it will be their 10th international title.
Mazembe have won the CAF Champions league five times, the defunct Cup Winners Cup once and won three CAF Super Cup trophies.
Egyptian club Al Ahly is the African side with most international titles won (20) folowed by rivals Zamalek with 11 non-domestic trophies.
Hubert Veluds’ team drew 1-1 in the first leg game in Blida about a week ago and appear stronger at home.
However TP Mazembe have to first do away with complacency as they were only two minutes away from winning their first Confederation Cup title on home soil in 2013 when Ben Youssef scored a late heartbreaking goal for CS Sfaxien to win the title fro the Tunisian side thanks to the away goal rule.
