Ghana forward Solomon Asante has set his sights on netting more goals for American USL Championship side Phoenix Rising.
The former Berekum Chelsea winger won the championship’s Golden Boot last season after scoring 22 goals with just three goals away from the highest number of goals by a player in a single season in the history of the Championship.
He also set two USL records this season as he made the highest number of assists in a single season with 17 and a combined goals and assists of 39.
Asante, 29, has commenced the new season in an incredible manner for the Arizona-based side, bagging 3 goals with 3 assists in 4 matches.
The former TP Mazembe star says he is is desirous to score more goals before the end of the season.
