Ghanaian forward Raymond Gyasi scored the only consolation goal for his new club RoPS who suffered a 3-1 to Ilves Tampere in the Finish Suomen Cup on Saturday.
Gyasi 25, who was playing his second game for the Finish outfit since joining in the winter transfer struck in the 65th to reduce their deficit to 3-1 with an outstanding performance.
Eetu Mommo shot Ilves the lead with just fourteen minutes into the game before Tiemoko Fofana increased their tally to 2-0 in the 45+1 minute.
Back from recess, the visitors came strongly into the game with some delightful possession in attempt to pull parity.
Their efforts paid off when the former Stabaek winger pulled one back in the 65th minute with a fine strike.
RoPS kept pushing for parity but failed to score as Emile Paul Tendeng gave the hosts a 3-1 win with an 87th minute goal.
Raymond Gyasi is the youngster brother of Ghana international Edwin Gyasi who plays club football in Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia.
