West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) have lost seven games this season after 17 matches honored in the Ghana Premier League and all seven losses have occurred when the games were played on a natural grass pitch instead of the artificial rubber pitch they are used to.
WAFA have won six games this season – only one of those victories was registered on a natural grass pitch as they beat Eleven Wonders in Techiman. The remaining five wins were all made on their astro turf in Sogakope.
Their latest setback at Hearts of Oak on Sunday losing 4-0 at the Accra sports stadium says it all as they conceded their 7th defeat of the season and 13th goal on the road.
In all their record on the road stands at : 1 win, 1 draw, 7 losses, 2 goals scored and 13 goals taken making them one of the weakest away teams in the league alongside King Faisal and Inter Allies.
