The Black Stars ‘B’ beat Niger 2-0 on Thursday to set up a crunchy final berth with bitterest rivals Nigeria at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday.
Maxwell Konadu’s boys haven’t been placed in Group ‘A’ with arch rivals Nigeria in the last round of group matches saw his team been walked-over by the ‘Super Green Eagles’ after Okpotu’s 52nd equalizer, followed by Eneji Moses’ 55th heart breaker which sealed the green team through to the next phase of the tournament where they piped Benin by a loan goal on Thursday.
Emmanuel Lomotey, Black Stars midfielder whose outstanding performance on the day won him the Nasco Man-Of-The-Match award against Niger is hopeful the Black Stars will go in all out to beat Nigeria to clinch the ultimate despite losing to them in their semi-final battle.
Speaking after the game , the Dream FC budding midfielder said “Is good we won,but all now leads to the finals against Nigeria,as we are in for the ultimate cup to made ourselves and Ghana proud,”
