Yeni Malatyaspor striker Benjamin Tetteh played his first ever game for Ghana’s Black Stars in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers matchday three game against Zimbabwe.
Tetteh was a second half substitute as replaced struggling Jordan Ayew in the Black’ 3-1 win against the Warriors at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.
The Stars won the game with goals from Kudus Mohammed in the 5th minute, Thomas Partey in the 66th and Andre Ayew in the 87th. Zimbabwe scored a consolation goal through Knowledge Musona in the 49th minute.
After 3 games, Ghana now sits second with six points to South Africa who lead the group with a point more.
The Black Stars will travel to play the same opponent on Tuesday in Zimbabwe.
