Wasaman FC Coach, Mallam Yahaya has reacted angrily to the punishment meted out to him by the disciplinary committee after allegedly terrorizing match officials in a division one game against Star Madrid FC.
The adjudicating body found the ex-Dortmund player guilty of breaching article 12(1) (I) of the GFA Disciplinary code 2019 and article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Division one league which in turn banned him 8 matches and a fine of GHC 2000 imposed on him as well.
However, reacting to the development in a radio interview with Ashh FM, Mallam Yahaya said “they (GFA) are there and they have been corrupt is it my money they want? perhaps maybe is my director who will pay that money for me I do not have that money to pay them they should take me out of Ghana football am tired of them I will continue to say the truth whenever I see the truth”
The comments by the Wassaman gaffer is likely to attract another hefty penalty by the Football Association if he is not able to prove his damning corruption allegation against members of the Association.
The Disciplinary Committee has been very firm in recent times on the issue of hooliganism and vandalism in the game as they banned the Wamanfo Park after fans beat up referees to a pulp in another division one game between Mighty Royals and Tano Bofoakwa.
