Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong has explained why he always celebrates his goals by pointing into the sky.
The striker netted on his unofficial debut in a friendly game against Aigle Nior of Burundi before scoring on his first league game for Young Africans Against Tanzania Prisons two weeks ago.
The lethal Ghanaian attacker says his goals are from God that is why he usually points to the heaven as his trademark celebration.
“I am happy I have got chances to score but what is important to note is that the goals are coming courtesy of the unity I have experienced with my teammates,” Sarpong told Soka Letu.
“I always celebrate my goals in the fashion that I do because I believe the goals are coming not because of my personal ability but it is because of God’s blessings.”
Sarpong is expected to lead the “Yanga” attack again this weekend when they travel away to face Kagera Sugar in a Week 3 fixture.
