Football will finally return in Ghana later this month after almost 10 months of no active football following the Coronavirus Pandemic.
At the official launch of the 2020/2021 football season on Thursday 5th November, 202 in Accra, Mr. Okraku urged all football fanatics and stakeholders to work to make the local league attractive.
Speaking at the launch which was telecasted live on Max TV, the leader of the GFA Chief disclosed that the ultimate winner of the Ghana Premier League will receive GHS250,000 plus 40 gold medals for players and officials as well as GHS10,000 shopping voucher from Melcom, an official partner of the GFA.
Meanwhile, the second and third-place clubs will earn GHS150,000 and GHS80,000 respectively plus medals and a shopping voucher from Melcom.
The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League starts on 13th November with giants Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak facing Techiman Eleven Wonders and Aduana Stars respectively in their matchday 1 game.
