Ghana’s Aaron Opoku played his first game for German powerhouse Hamburg SV in a friendly loss to FC Midtjylland.
The 24-year-old saw 30 minutes of action for the Bundesliga 2 side in their 2-0 loss as preparation for the 2020-21 season intensify.
Opoku was a delight to watch after his introduction to the game on the 60th minutes mark but could not help his team avoid defeat to the Danish Champions.
The Ghana International spent last season on loan at FC Hansa Rostock in the Bundesliga 3 and has since been given a shot at first team football at Hamburg after a successful loan away from the club.
The midfield dynamo would be looking forward to capitalising on his chances to become a regular starter as Hamburg hopes of making it into the Bundesliga next campaign.
