Veteran football administrator Kofi Manu, ‘Blue Boy’, is set to be appointed as special ‘Special Consultant And Advisor’ to Ashantigold Sporting Club president Dr. Kwaku Frimpong.
The miners, are currently fixing the club’s administrative lapses and recently appointed Emmanuel Frimpong as the new CEO with Roy Arthur taking the position of sporting director.
And, experienced football administrator, has been spotted as the right man to help the miners champion their new course of making the Obuas-based club a top brand in African football.
”It’s true we have approached Kofi Manu to come on board,he’s part of us already and he’s always welcomed,” Ashantigold CEO Emmanuel Frimpong confirmed to Oyerapa Sports.
”We want him to become our Accra rep and also special Consultant and advisor to the President.
