Brighton and Hove Albion forward Percy Tau has been named in South Africa’s squad for their upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualfiers against Ghana and Sudan later this month.
Bafana Bafana take on Ghana on March 25, before then playing against Sudan on March 28.
Tau was in fine form for South Africa in the last international break in November, picking up three goals in their AFCON Qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe.
The 1996 AFCON champions will host the Black Stars of Ghana in Pretoria on March 25, 2021 before traveling to face the Falcons of Jediane in the last Group game on March 28,
Coach Molefi Ntseki is bent on winning both games and has come out with a strong squad ti help him achieve his set target.
South Africa, Ghana and Sudan are all having nine points from four games though the Black Stars lead the Group with superior goal difference.
