President of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Grusah says he is totally backing the decision of the head of state, Nana Akufo-Addo not to lift the suspension of the Ghana Premier League.
The first gentleman of Ghana on Sunday evening announced in an address to the nation that the suspension of local football in the country would not be uplifted for the next two months and the King Faisal boss is in full support.
“I agree with Nana Addo for extending ban on football activities,where are we rushing to play our league to,people will say i support cancellation because of my club’s position on the log but that’s not it,we need to prepare well so we can perform in Africa” Grusah told Oyerepa FM.
King Faisal are last on the Ghana Premier League table and are bound for relegation having failed to win a single match in fourteen outings.
