Swansea City’s deputy captain, Andre Ayew scored in his team’s 1-1 draw away at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday evening in England.
The 31-year-old grabbed his fourteenth league goal of the season for the White and Blacks as they came from behind to pick a valuable point away from home in their outstanding fixture against Blackburn.
The home team struck first through Bradley Dack after 37 minutes of the match to put the Blue and Whites in a commanding lead.
Four minutes later, Swansea City AFC were awarded a spot kick in a third game running and once again the Ghanaian skipper, Ayew converted from 12-yards to restore parity after 41 minutes.
The game ended 1-1 as Swansea go level on points with second-placed Watford with a game in hand.
Ayew, 31 has played 33 games in the Championship for the Jack Army’s and has 14 goals and two assists this season.
