Former Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has lauded the role coach Bashir Hayford played in his career.
The pair worked together at Kotoko during the 2007/2008 season and Bekoe has commended the veteran trainer for helping him to get on top of his career.

“The coach to have the greatest impact on my career is Coach Bashir Hayford. In fact, he was like a father, a teacher, a friend, and a Physiologist as well to me. I always want to work with him.” Bekoe told Nhyira FM
Bekoe netted 17 league goals for Kotoko under Bashir Hayford and was also in top form scoring goals for fun in Kotoko’s Africa campaign during the 2008/2009 season.
