Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey says he remains hopeful of his side, Ludogorets Razgard making it to the next round of the UEFA Champions League following their defeat to Malmo FF.
The Bulgarian top-flight club were beaten by the Swedish side by a 2-0 scoreline away from home on Wednesday in the first leg of the play-offs round.
Veljkp Birmancevic and Jo Inge Berget scored a goal in each half to ensure that Malmo took a first-leg advantage over Ludogorets ahead of the return leg.
Tekpetey was handed a starting berth by the Ludogorets gaffer, but the Ghanaian could do very little to get his side to match the quality of the Swedish outfit.
However, the 23-year-old says he remains focused until the very last moments as he looks determined to help his side overturn the first leg deficit.
We keep our focus high and will never give up till the end 🙏🟢⚪️🦅#itallaboutjesuschrist #beliveinyourself #trusttheprocess #ingodwetrust #ucl #togetherness #teamworkmakesthedreamwork pic.twitter.com/jv6JrUGmAf
