Head coach for Ghana’s Black Stars, CK Akonnor thinks that Ghana had an okay draw ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The former VFL Wolfsburg player says the group is an okay one though he’s not expecting a weaker opposition at the event because football has evolved.
In an interview with Accra-based Television Station (TV3) , the gaffer revealed his opinion on the group and how he feel about his opponents
“I think the draw is okay. I didn’t come here [to Cameroon] with expectations of which group I want to be in or not. Nowadays football is evolving and so you cannot expect weaker things”, he stated.

Since 2008, Ghana has always made it to the last four of the competition with the exception of the last edition in Egypt where Tunisia eliminated them at the round 16 stage.
