Ghana’s female senior national team [Black Queens] thrashed Kumasi Sports Academy 4-0 in a preparatory game on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
A hat-trick from Gladys Amfobea and Diana Weige’s brilliant strike was enough for the Queens to record victory over the Kumasi based team.
Ahead of the 2018 Women’s Championship to be hosted by Ghana, Coach Bashir Hayford and his charges are embarking on a nationwide tour and will also the opportunity to play more friendly matches to put the team in good shape before the tournament starts in November later this year.
The team will however, engage Kumasi select side in a similar friendly before travelling to Techiman where they will test their strength with Ampem Darkoaa Ladies on Saturday.
