Ghana take on Zimbabwe for the Match-Day Four of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification on Tuesday at the Harare National Sports stadium.
The Black Stars imposed a 3-1 win against Zimbabwe last Saturday in Cape Coast to claim their sixth point in three games whilst South Africa, the group leaders, are on seven points.
The South Africans won massively, 3-1 at Ethiopia and welcome the latter at the FNB stadium on Tuesday for the reverse encounter. The team of Hugo Broos are overwhelming favorites to carry the day meaning Bafana Bafana could finish their fourth qualifying match on ten points. South Africa will be at home against Zimbabwe in November before traveling to Ghana for their final group match ( a potential group decider).
This means the Black Stars must avoid defeat in Harare today in order to stay in the race against South Africa.
It must be noted that Ghana travel to Ethiopia in November before the home game against Bafana Bafana.
From the foregoing it is clear that for stronger qualification chances, Milovan Rajevac and his boys must get positive results in the next two away games.
