Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo, popularly known as the Dribbling Magician says the recent unattractive form of the senior national team, the Black Stars, is spiritually linked.
The Black Stars have failed to win any major trophy since wining the African Nations Cup trophy in 1982.
The team failed to progress beyond the semi-final at the 2017 AFCON in Gabon under former Chelsea boss Avram Grant.
“I have said it before that there is some sort of spiritual connotation to the Black Stars challenges. As you remember, our infamous World Cup fiasco in Brazil – the money issues and the disciplinary challenges that faced the team – is not normal though it is becoming the norm of the day.” Polo told Accra based Class FM.
