Winger Emmanuel Gyamfi scored a brace on Sunday to register his fifth goal of the season in the Ogya Lads Bono-derby win against the Blues.
The former Asante winger bagged a brace as Aduana Stars defeated Berekum Chelsea by 3-2 to move three points clear of King Faisal at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
Gyamfi scored in the 67th and 72nd minutes as Sam Adams added a third goal in the 86th.
The visitors threatened a comeback with two late goals during additional time but the home team held on to win their sixth consecutive match of the season to reach 20 points.
Emmanuel Gyamfi has now scored five goals in eight games so far this campaign for Aduana Stars FC.
