A club statement said Dwamena would undergo more tests and stressed “Real Zaragoza trust there will be a quick and total recovery.”
The 24-year old striker, returned to FC Zürich when his move to Albion collapsed and was fitted with a heart-reading chip.
Dwamena signed a four-year deal at Levante ahead of last season, during which he scored one goal.
